Dwarf stone at Hafnarfjörður Church
The stone that stands between the church and the parish house was not moved when the church was built in 1914 because no one wanted to risk a quarrel with the hidden beings who lived there.

The Hammer
From the Hammer there is a beautiful view over Hafnarfjörður and the surrounding area. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Snæfellsjökull. The Hammer has a young and vibrant energy, as elven children are often playing there. The Hammer is also home to the nobility of the hidden folk. According to a seer, their dwelling is decorated with gold ornaments and red carpets.
The Learning Centre by the Stream
A woman spoke to a foreman who was working on the construction of the school in 1930. She asked him to stop breaking down the rock at
the school. If they were to grant her wish, the elves would ensure that children playing in the surrounding cliffs would not get hurt.

Hellisgerði
Hellisgerði is a lava-field-adorned park. It has a pond with a fountain, diverse wildlife and vegetation, and is an ideal setting for family entertainment. Hellisgerði also has a profound history and is home to the largest settlement of elves, dwarves and hidden folk. It is a good place to come, find a spot and meditate in the light and positive energy of the garden. Who knows, perhaps a message will come through from the hidden folk during your meditation.

The Alfasteinn on the corner of Vesturbraut and Vesturgata
In this stone lives a fairy woman and her two teenage sons. When the house was built, their home was not disturbed, because they did not want to move.
An elven home map is available from the Hafnarfjörður Tourist Information Centre, where the settlements of elves in Hafnarfjörður have been mapped according to the guidance of the seer Erla Stefánsdóttir. It states: „Hafnarfjörður is a town of humans and hidden people. While elves can be sensed in every garden, the lava field is particularly alive, with dwarves, earth-dwarves and all sorts of elves.“ It is ideal to get hold of a hidden world map and go in search of elves and hidden folk.
