The Christmas Village in Hafnarfjörður
The Christmas Village in Hafnarfjörður is a Christmas market open from mid-November each year; every Friday from 5 pm - 8 pm and every Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm - 6 pm. It is bustling with life and activity. Everyone is welcome to the centre of Hafnarfjörður in December to enjoy surprise entertainment on Thorsplani, visit the little Christmas houses and who knows, perhaps visitors will bump into Grýla or the Yule Lads wandering around town.

The beautifully decorated Christmas houses in the Christmas Village have become a nationally renowned marketplace for a variety of giftware, gourmet treats, crafts and design, ideal for putting in a Christmas stocking. Delicious food is also available to eat in, as well as treats to take home for the dinner table.
