A full working week reduction (36 instead of 40 working hours) has been introduced at all facilities of the City of Hafnarfjörður and naturally also applies to all staff of the city's leisure centres. The working arrangements are tailored to the specific activities at each location, ensuring that neither the service nor the quality of the leisure activities are compromised. Staff negotiate the arrangement for the working time reduction with their managers at their workplace, and the aim is to find a solution that suits each individual. The reduction is reviewed monthly.
