Planning statement – water protection
The planning statement for the amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður, concerning water protection boundaries in line with the Regional Plan for the Capital Region, is now available. Written comments on the statement should be submitted no later than 17 October.
Planning statement for the amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður concerning water protection boundaries, in order to align it with the Regional Plan for the Capital Area.
At the meeting of the Hafnarfjörður Town Council on 11 August 2016, it was recorded:
The Town Council, in its capacity as the municipal council, approves an amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður dated. 12.05.2016, 2013-2025 for a change to the boundaries of the water protection area within the territory of Hafnarfjörður, and for it to be advertised in accordance with Section 31 of the Act No. 123/2010. Approved by a unanimous vote of five.
When work on the preparation of a draft local plan begins, the local council shall prepare a description of the planning project. This shall set out the council's priorities for the local plan, information on the underlying assumptions and existing policies, and the planned procedure. such as on the promotion and consultation on the plan's development with the residents of the municipality and other stakeholders.
