Voters can check where they are on the electoral register for the presidential election on 27 June 2020.. When a National Registration Number is entered, a name, legal residence and municipality are displayed. Information about the polling station and polling division usually appears as well. Voters are on the electoral register in the municipality where they have their registered legal residence three weeks before election day, 5 May 2018. A change of address after this time will not change your registration on the electoral roll.

Vote by post

From 15th June to 26th June, absentee voting will take place at three locations in the capital region: on the 1st floor of Smáralind, on the 2nd floor of Smáralind, and under the stand at Laugardalsvöllur. These will be open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. However, it will be closed on Wednesday, 17th June. On polling day, Saturday, 27th June, only the location on the 1st floor of Smáralind will be open, between 10:00 and 17:00, for voters who are registered to vote outside the capital region. The telephone numbers for postal voting are 860-3380 and 860-3381. The emergency number for the returning officer is 860-3382.

Electoral register

The electoral roll for the presidential election in Hafnarfjörður on 27 June 2020 is available for inspection at the Hafnarfjörður Town Hall, Service Desk, Strandgata 6, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every weekday from 16 June 2020. Comments on the electoral roll should be addressed to the Hafnarfjörður Town Council.
