Tjarnarvellir, Hawk Area

At the meeting of the Hafnarfjörður Town Council on 18 September 2019, it was resolved to advertise a proposal for an amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður, concerning a change of land use at Tjarnarvellir, in accordance with Section 30 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.

The planning application relates to the Tjarnarvellir area of the Haukur site, and consists of changing the land use designation from a sports area to a residential area.

The proposals, together with the supporting documents, will be available for inspection at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Department of Environment and Planning, Norðurhellu 2, from 27 September to 4 November 2019.

Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the amendment, which must be submitted in writing to the Environment and Planning Department of Hafnarfjörður no later than 4 November 2019.
