Power cut on the night of Thursday, 25th July
There will be a power cut across the entire HS Veitur supply area in Hafnarfjörður and part of Garðabær in the early hours of Thursday, from 1:00 to 2:00. The power cut is necessary to bring the 132 kV HF1 high-voltage cable from Landsnet back into operation.
A power cut will occur across the HS Veitur supply area within the town of Hafnarfjörður and part of Garðabær on the early hours of Thursday, 25th July – PLEASE NOTE: changed time.
There will be a power cut across the entire HS Veitur supply area in Hafnarfjörður and part of Garðabær in the early hours of Thursday, from 1:00 to 2:00. The power cut is necessary to bring the 132 kV HF1 high-voltage cable from Landsnet back into operation. This is due to construction work on the Reykjanesbraut in Hafnarfjörður.

The work had to be postponed from the night of Tuesday the 23rd until the night of Thursday, due to reasons beyond the control of HS Veitur, as the work requires many utility companies to have their work crews ready simultaneously.
