Power cut in Hafnarfjörður at 4 a.m. on Sunday
On the morning of Sunday, 14th July at 4 a.m., there will be a power cut across the entire supply area within the municipalities of Hafnarfjörður and Garðabær. HS Veitur will then carry out necessary operational changes to the distribution network. It is estimated that power will be restored to all users approximately an hour later, at around 5 a.m.
On the night of Sunday, 14th July at 4 a.m., there will be a power cut across the entire HS Veitur supply area within the municipalities of Hafnarfjörður and Garðabær. HS Veitur will then make necessary operational changes to the distribution system. It is estimated that power will be restored to all users approximately an hour later, at around 5 a.m.
Due to roadworks on the Reykjanesbraut in Hafnarfjörður, some of HS Veitna's 11 kV high-voltage cables are being disrupted. HS Veitur is therefore relocating the 11 kV high-voltage cables used for the distribution of electricity within its supply area in Hafnarfjörður and part of Garðabær.
