Primary School Festival 2016
The youth clubs and primary schools of Hafnarfjörður have organised the Primary School Festival for years, and the festival has been a credit to the young people and their projects.
On Wednesday, 3rd February, the Primary School Festival will take place in Hafnarfjörður. The youth clubs and primary schools in Hafnarfjörður have been running this project for years, and the festival has been a great credit to the young people and their projects.
The following day, there will be performances at the Gaflar Theatre at 13:00 and 15:00, where students from the town's schools will showcase the results of all kinds of art-related work.
- The 13:00 performance is for pupils from Áslandsskóli, Víðistaðaskóli and Hraunvallaskóli.
- The 3:00 p.m. performance is for pupils from Setbergsskóli, Lækjarskóli, Öldutúnsskóli and Hvaleyrarskóli.
In the evening, a dance will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Strandgata Sports Hall. DJs from Öldan and Hrauni will be performing, along with the winners of the youth club singing competition from Mosinn and Hrauni. Also performing will be Friðrik Dór, Jón Jónsson, Emmsjé Gauti and the DJs from Basic House Effect.
Everyone will be driven home after the dance.
