Primary School Festival 2015
Tomorrow, Wednesday 11 February, the Primary School Festival will take place in Hafnarfjörður. The youth clubs and schools have been running this project for years, and it has been to the credit of the teenagers and their initiatives.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 11 February, the Primary School Festival will take place in Hafnarfjörður. The youth clubs and schools have been running this project for years, and it has been to the credit of the teenagers and their initiatives.
The following day, there will be performances at the Gaflar Theatre at 13:00 and 15:00. There, students from the town's schools will showcase the results of all kinds of art-related work.
The 13:00 performances are for Áslandsskóli, Víðistaðaskóli and Hraunvallaskóli.
The next performance is at 15:00 for pupils from Setbergsskóli, Lækjarskóli, Öldutúnsskóli and Hvaleyrarskóli.
A special preview will be held on Tuesday evening, 10th February at 20:00 for parents and other interested parties.
On the evening of 11th February, a dance will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Strandgata Sports Hall. There, the winners of the youth centres' singing competition will take to the stage, and the Icelandic pop stars Friðrik Dór and Jón Jónsson will sing some of their most popular songs, DJs will play the latest dance music and the highlight of the evening will be a performance by Reykjavíkurdætur. After the dance, everyone will be taken home.
