Proposal for the protection of the Brennisteinsfjöll geothermal area: 68 Brennisteinsfjöll in the protection category of the framework plan – deadline for comments
Environmental Agency has now put forward a proposal for the designation of a geothermal area for consultation. Sulphur Mountains in Reykjanes: 68 Sulphur Mountains on the basis of the classification of the area in the protection category of the protection and energy utilisation plan (framework plan), pursuant to a resolution of the Althingi no. 13/141, from 14 January 2013.
The introductory period is three months or until 30 October 2019.
