Proposals for a revised local plan for the site at 36 East Road
The Planning and Building Committee of Hafnarfjörður approved at its meeting on 3 October 2017 to advertise a proposal for an amended detailed plan for the plot at 36 Austurgata, in accordance with section 1 of Article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. The proposal will also be subject to local consultation. This is a change to the detailed plan for Hafnarfjörður town centre.
The Planning and Building Committee of Hafnarfjörður approved at its meeting on 3 October 2017 to advertise a proposal for an amended detailed plan for the plot at 36 Austurgata, in accordance with section 1 of Article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. The proposal will also be subject to local consultation. This is a change to the detailed plan for Hafnarfjörður town centre.
The demolition of the existing house has been authorised. The planning amendment involves moving the plot boundaries to align with the street line, which results in a slight reduction in the plot size. Additionally, the building envelope is extended and building lines for a new house on the plot are established. The roof height of the house is increased, as is the plot's utilisation ratio.
The proposal will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 8-10, and at the Environmental and Planning Service, Norðurhellu 2, from 1 November to 13 December 2017.
Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the amendment, which must be submitted in writing to the Environmental and Planning Services of Hafnarfjörður Municipality no later than 13 December 2017. Those who do not submit objections to the amendment within the specified deadline will be deemed to have consented to it.
