Public meeting on the budget

The Mayor is calling a meeting with the residents of Hafnarfjörður regarding the 2016 budget on Tuesday, 10th November. The meeting will be held at the Bæjarbíó from 20:00 to 21:30.
At the meeting, the mayor will present the main priorities and conclusions of the proposal for the 2016 budget for Hafnarfjörður and the three-year plan for 2017–2019.
„It is important that residents have information about how their money is planned to be spent,“ says Mayor Haraldur L. Haraldsson. „This is the presentation of an ambitious budget, which I believe means that bright times are ahead for Hafnarfjörður, provided things are managed correctly.“
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting, but those who cannot make it can watch it online as it will be broadcast on the City of Hafnarfjörður's website.
