The Rabbrýmið is the open podcast studio of Hafnarfjörður Library, where books and papers meet over hanging microphones and everyone is up for a chat. The space is open to all library card holders and bookings are available. 

The rabbrýmið is an open podcast studio Hafnarfjörður Library where books and chatter meet over hanging microphones and everyone is up for a chat. The space is open to all those with a valid library card, and recording slots can be booked at the library's website.

Everyone is most welcome to the Rabbrýmið! 

The Rabbrýminið has all the equipment needed for podcast recording and production. For those just starting out, staff are on hand to go over the basics and provide assistance for the time being. Drawer-drawer poets, opinionated types, rummagers, bookworms and all those with an insatiable need to launch themselves into the cosmos – you are most welcome in the Rabbrýmið.

Age limitUsers of the Rabbrými must be 18 years of age or older. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
