Review of the information policy

The Hafnarfjörður Town Council approved at its meeting on 8 September
It was recently decided to begin work on revising the City of Hafnarfjörður's information policy. A working group was appointed to work on it.

of the municipality's specified stakeholders. Quality handling and communication are
a basis for the policy of the City of Hafnarfjörður, as these are important aspects of
the activities of public authorities, elements which are intended to inspire confidence and
Respect. Correct information in the right place at the right time is fundamental.
Improved decision-making and a foundation for operational efficiency and active
more democratic participation. Such a public information provider simultaneously respects boundaries and
Protection of personal data in accordance with the law.
