„The Highways Agency has given permission for the following works, weather permitting. Friday evening, 9th October and Saturday, 10th October.
Resurfacing and milling on the northbound Reykjanesbraut between Kaplakrika and Kauptún. The works will be ongoing. from 8 p.m. on Friday 9 October to 4 p.m. on Saturday 10 October. Left turns at the junction with Álftanesveg will be closed. Traffic on the Reykjanesbraut will run alongside the work area. The closure will be implemented in accordance with the attached closure plan.
Motorists are asked to respect the signage and speed limits, and to exercise caution in the work zones. The work zones are narrow, and people and equipment are working very close to the traffic lanes.“
