The students' council meeting at Ásland School was held on Tuesday, 10th November. On that day, the school's pupils discussed their various perspectives and opinions about the school's activities. The aim of the student assembly is to provide everyone with a platform or opportunity to express their ideas and gain support for good proposals that enhance the school's activities.

Pupils in the junior school discussed after-school clubs, sports and swimming, and classrooms, while pupils in the middle and senior school discussed online safety, learning and technology, cyberbullying, and time and technology. The implementation varied according to the pupils' age, and parents were invited to participate in the school council alongside their children. The main principle of the school council is for pupils to be active and learn about democratic practice by having a formative influence on their school.

The school conference went exceptionally well, and the students were active in their work and came up with many ideas to work on.
