At the town council meeting on 6 February, it was resolved to advertise a proposal for a zoning plan amendment for the plot at Norðurhæla 1, in accordance with section 1 of article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.
At the town council meeting on 6 February, it was resolved to advertise a proposal for a zoning plan amendment for the plot at Norðurhæla 1, in accordance with section 1 of article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.
The change consists of: the building envelope is rotated by 90°. A protective fence up to 2.1m in height will be permitted at the goods reception area, outside the building envelope. A new vehicular access will be provided to the site from Hraunhella.
The proposal will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Environmental and Planning Service, Norðurhellu 2, from 15 February to 29 March 2019. The detailed plan proposal can be viewed here:

Further information is available from the Environmental and Planning Service. Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the change. Comments should be submitted in writing to the Environmental and Planning Services of Hafnarfjörður Municipality, no later than 29 March 2019.
