After-school club
Children in Years 1–4 can take part in a wide range of extracurricular activities at the after-school clubs at their school from the end of the school day until 4:30 p.m.
Leisure fees
Leisure centre fees are charged according to the tariff. You can calculate the cost of your stay using the calculator below.
You can choose how many days your child will attend the club. Payment is per day. The fee includes an afternoon snack, supervision, and extended hours on days when we are open all day.
Sibling discount
Children in after-school care who have another sibling in the same service, or a sibling currently attending a nursery or a day nursery, are eligible for a sibling discount. The after-school club discount is calculated on the attendance fee for each child beyond the first. The youngest sibling is charged the full fee, but a discount is provided:
- for another sibling: 75%
- for the third sibling: 100%
- for the fourth sibling: 100%
The discount is calculated automatically. An application is only required when children:
- have siblings who have different permanent residence
- are in a leisure centre or nursery school outside Hafnarfjörður
