Individual support (formerly known as social support) is personal support and assistance to empower people to participate in cultural and social life. This helps to break down social isolation and increase community participation.

Individual support includes companionship, socialising, and support for hobbies and leisure activities. The support is tailored to the needs of each individual.

The support is intended for adults and children with disabilities from the age of 6.
