National Party
Apply for NPAUser-directed personal assistance (NPA) is a service for people with disabilities to enable them to live their lives and have the same opportunities as people without disabilities.
NPA Arrangement
User-directed personal assistance (NPA) is based on A philosophy of independent living. People themselves control how the support is organised, what support is provided, when and where it takes place, and who provides it.
An agreement is made with the applicant based on their needs. Monthly payments are then estimated so that the individual can manage and organise the service themselves according to their own needs and convenience.
Advisors are available to provide further information about the NPA and advice on the application process.
How do I apply for NPA?
It is best to book an appointment with an adviser by phone. 585 5500. You can also apply on Our pages. In the application, tick 'Other' and specify NPA. A consultant will then contact you. Once the application is submitted, the consultant will assess your support needs in collaboration with you. You will then agree on working hours and other details, and draw up an NPA agreement.
