The little and big nursery school trees on Thorsplan
Five-year-old nursery children from Smáralund visited the Christmas Town of Hafnarfjörður early this morning and decorated the Cuxhaven Christmas tree. The Christmas Town upholds the beautiful traditions created by grandfathers in the run-up to Christmas. One of these is the environmentally friendly Christmas decorations made by the oldest nursery children on Thorsplan.
Five-year-old children decorate the trees in the Christmas village
Cheerful and happy five-year-old nursery children from Smáralundur came to the Christmas Village this Monday morning and decorated the Cuxhaven Christmas tree. Three nurseries are decorating the tree with their specially designed Christmas decorations this year. Each nursery has its own tree in the Christmas Village, which the children decorate.
The Christmas town of Hafnarfjörður upholds beautiful traditions created by grandparents in the run-up to Christmas. One of these is the Christmas decorations made by the oldest nursery school children on Thorsplan. For years, nurseries in Hafnarfjörður have been responsible for decorating the small Christmas trees that adorn the Christmas Village on Thorsplan. The decorations are most welcome and have given the Christmas Village a lovely touch since the very beginning. You can see decorated trees and others waiting to be adorned with their lovely decorations.
Creative and fun nursery school children
Yes, there are many Christmas trees in the Christmas Village. Now one stands on the stage in the Christmas Village, perfect for dancing around. The children then get a wonderful view of the beautiful Christmas Village, which was transformed this year with a roundhouse in the centre of the village.
It's an adventure for the children to visit the Christmas Village. The lights bring joy. The decorations are made from recyclable materials and are of various kinds, with ingenuity prevailing. We encourage residents of Hafnarfjörður and friends of the town to take a tour of Thorsplan, see the decorations and perhaps even get ideas for decorations to make at home during Advent, which can be done inexpensively but with great joy.
