A pact that was in effect this spring and continues through the summer, and which applies to all of us. We encourage staff, residents and friends of Hafnarfjörður to honour the pact.

Let us remind ourselves of the pledge made this spring to keep up the good work. A pledge that will remain valid throughout the summer and one that we will all observe.
In the spring, the Civil Protection Authority and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer issued a social contract, reminding us that the continuation of the good progress against the COVID-19 coronavirus is in our hands. The agreement reiterates several points that we all need to bear in mind to protect ourselves from the virus, such as washing and sanitising our hands and maintaining a two-metre distance.
We are all civil defence – and we will remain so!
