The training, which covered topics including the planning and implementation of an idea, the role of committees, active participation in social activities and the importance of each individual, was a great success in every respect. The students were exemplary and genuinely enthusiastic, and the staff were brilliant. At the end of the training, the students were split into 3 groups and each group had to come up with an idea for an event, for which they had to write down details about the event, a budget, funding, and implementation (task allocation).

Topics covered in the training included: From idea to implementation, the role of student councils, participation and democracy in social activities, the impact of each individual on the work, brainstorming and bubble football.

Ideas for events: Bouncy castle party, inter-youth centre football tournament, new student ball, Lip-sync, ghost laser tag, annual ball (Rósarball for all youth centres in Hafnarfjörður) and sports tournament for youth centres in Hafnarfjörður.
