Applications are now open for new summer jobs for students aged 18 and over who are between courses.  The summer jobs are varied and fun, including in the fields of environment and operations, information technology, education, family affairs, culture, and health promotion.

This is a summer employment initiative by the City of Hafnarfjörður in response to the current employment situation in the country, in collaboration with the Employment Authority. The Hafnarfjörður Summer School also offers fun and educational summer jobs for 14-17-year-olds in the town. All jobs are advertised on the City of Hafnarfjörður's recruitment website, www.radningar.hafnarfjordur.is, where applications are submitted online. Many summer jobs with the City of Hafnarfjörður that were advertised earlier this spring have already been filled, but those who have been on the waiting list for summer jobs should have received an email by now. Those over 18 years of age are advised that they can reapply for the new jobs that are now available..
