Positions are available for application as group leaders, instructors and assistant instructors for sports and play schemes and in school gardens, as well as roles in environmental and gardening courses. Hafnarfjörður is looking for hardworking and energetic individuals for summer employment. Positions are available for squad leaders, instructors and assistant instructors at sports and play camps and in school gardens, as well as roles in environmental and gardening courses. The requirement for employment is that the applicant is a resident of Hafnarfjörður, and the salary is in accordance with the pay agreement between the City of Hafnarfjörður and the relevant trade union.
The minimum age for applicants for the following positions is 21 years (born 1996):
- Group leaders at the Work School
- Instructors at sports and games courses
- Guides in school gardens
Age of applicants for the following positions: 18-20 years old (born 1997-1999):
- Horticulture and Environment Classes
The age of applicants for the following positions is 17-20 years old (1997-2000):
- Assistant instructors at sports and games courses
