Summer Reading 2022 starts on 1 June
The Hafnarfjörður Library's Summer Reading Programme begins as usual on 1 June and runs until 3 September, when it will be celebrated in style with a harvest festival!

Welcome to take part in the Hafnarfjörður Library's summer reading programme.
As before, you will be able to register for the summer reading programme both at the library itself and electronic, The 'Reader of the Week' will be drawn throughout the term, and materials will be sent to all primary schools to encourage participation. Both reading diaries and review forms for the 'Reader of the Week' can be accessed in Polish and Icelandic. The Little Reading Lemmur is supporting the participants and looks forward to welcoming them to the library this summer.

Not to worry—although the weather isn't always good in Iceland, you can open a book and escape to Hvergiland, Múmíndal, Rofadal or Undraland.
