Come to the museum!
- Hafnarfjörður Library is open on Saturday, 19th April from 12 pm to 4 pm
- Port city is open from 12-17 on Maundy Thursday, Saturday 19th April and on Easter Monday, Monday 21st April
- Hafnarfjörður Museum of Local History – The warehouse is open on Saturday, 19th April from 11 am to 5 pm

The health town of Hafnarfjörður is in many ways a unique town, not least for its lively and entertaining town centre, charming harbour area and good access to diverse and beautiful natural gems. Many Interesting places are within walking distance of the town centre, for example Hellisgerði, Víðistaðatún, Lækurinn and Hamarinn, in addition to which residents of Hafnarfjörður enjoy the luxury of having Helgafell, Hvaleyrarvatn, Ásfjall and Ástjörn in their back garden.
Nurseries, primary schools, service centres and service hubs
Hafnarfjörður's primary schools are on Easter holiday. Normal school will resume on Tuesday, 22 April. Hafnarfjörður's nurseries and after-school clubs are open on weekdays during Holy Week, except for public holidays. They will be closed from Thursday, 17 April until 21 April. The same applies to the City of Hafnarfjörður's service centre at Strandgata 6 and the service centre at Norðurhellu 2.
