The general opening hours for the town's swimming pools will change from 3rd May and will be as follows (changed times are in bold):
Opening hours of Ásvallalaug and Suðurbæjarlaug:
- Monday – Thursday: 6.30 – 22.00
- Friday: 6.30 – 20.00
- Saturday 8:00 – 18:00
- Sunday 8:00 – 17:00
Opening hours of the Sundhall Hfj.
- Monday – Friday: 6:30 – 21:00
A special Sunday summer opening will be held. at the South Town Pool in June and July, starting on 3 June:
- Open 9.00 – 21.00
All pools closed on 1st May.
