The 2022 Primary School Innovation Teacher is Ásta

Ásta Sigríður Ólafsdóttir, a design and construction teacher at Víðistaðaskóli, was chosen as the 2022 Primary School Innovation Teacher in the Primary School Innovation Competition, NKG. As a recognition, Ásta received 150,000 krónur from the Federation of Icelandic Industries, along with a trophy and a certificate of appreciation.

Ásta Sigríður Ólafsdóttir, a design and construction teacher at Víðistaðaskóli, was chosen as the 2022 Primary School Innovation Teacher in the Primary School Innovation Competition., Not enough. Ásta received an award of 150,000 krónur from the Federation of Icelandic Industries, along with a trophy and a certificate of recognition. The aim of Ásta's teaching approach is to foster independent and critical thinking, imagination, initiative, and to ensure students always see opportunities and solutions in every task.
