The ærslar have gone into hibernation.
The water slides in Hafnarfjörður have now been put into hibernation for the winter. However, we can all look forward to two new slides being installed in the new year.
The water slides will wait until next summer!
The Hafnarfjörður water slides have been drained and are awaiting better weather. There are now five water slides, and more are set to be added in the new year. The plan is to install two new slides, so regular visitors can start to look forward to it. During the summer, all the bungee trampolines are open from 9 am to 10 pm, every day of the week.
Where are the Ærslabelgir now?

The bouncy castles have been very popular this summer and a popular meeting place for families, children and young people. As spring arrives once more, and before we know it, our beautiful and colourful balloons will be inflated again. Until then, we encourage Hafnarfjörður families, young people and children to make use of other opportunities for outdoor activities, socialising and entertainment.
Here are some ideas from Healthy Hafnarfjörður:
- A whole alphabet of ideas
- Outdoor activities and nature
- Places of interest
- Walking and cycling paths
- Play and football pitches
Fans of bouncy castles can then, when the weather is better, jump all over the country. Here you can find a map which leads each and every one of us to this blissful state.
