News

The final festival of the competition for Hafnarfjörður will take place at Hafnarborg on 8 March, where two representatives from each primary school will take part.

The Great Reading Competition is in full swing in the primary schools of Hafnarfjörður, where the Year 7 pupils are receiving targeted training in public speaking and reading. The final event for the competition in Hafnarfjörður will take place at Hafnarborg on Tuesday, 8th March at 5 p.m., where two representatives from each primary school will take part.

The results of the short story competition for pupils in Years 9-11 and the winners of the invitation design for the final celebration will also be announced. Stories and suggestions for the invitation should be submitted to the School Office by 8th February at the latest. Within the primary schools, finals for the Great Reading Competition must also be held to select the school's representative for the ceremony at Hafnarborg. The week of 15th-19th February is considered the most suitable for this, as the Children's Film and Book Festival will be held in Hafnarfjörður during that week.

Further details about the programme for the Children's Film and Book Festival will be published soon.
