The Heart Rink has become a fixture in Hafnarfjörður. This 200-square-metre ice rink, run by Bæjarbíó in partnership with Jólabær Hafnarfjörður, first opened in the run-up to Christmas 2021.
Thousands of visitors have enjoyed skating in the heart of Hafnarfjörður in the run-up to Christmas since then. This year, the first session is on Thursday, 15th November, and skates and helmets will be available on site.
The Heart-warming stand is in front of the Bæjarbíó, in the car park of the Hafnarfjörður Library. If the cold manages to chill your little one, it's a great idea to pop into the library with a good book, or to the Soofistann, which is in the town's oldest stone house, for a hot chocolate.

Jóli Hólm entertains thousands of guests
Entertainer and impressionist Soli Hólm is now appearing for the third year running at Bæjarbíó with his Christmas show, Jóla Hólm.
Over the past two years, around twenty thousand people have made their way to Bæjarbíó during Advent to get into one of the most fun Christmas spirits in the country.
Jóli Hólm has become an integral part of the Christmas preparations for so many who even go out to eat at the Sól restaurant in connection with the show, or sit in the Advent tent at Bæjarbíó before or after a performance — or simply stroll around the Christmas Village.
