Beauty honoured – Krýsuvíkurkirkja receives the 2021 honour award
A number of awards for tidiness were presented at a ceremony in Hafnarfjörður yesterday. The Krýsuvíkurkirkja received an honorary award, having been rebuilt in its original form and reinstated in its original location in October 2020. Two businesses in the harbour area, the Institute of Marine Research and the architectural firm Batteríið, received an award for tidiness, and Lóuás in Áslandin was also named Star Gata of the Year. The owners of nine gardens were recognised for having the most beautiful and best-kept gardens in Hafnarfjörður in 2021. Hafnarfjörður is a beautiful town with many lovely gardens and well-kept plots of land. The selection for the awards is based on tips from residents, and the awards are intended to encourage other residents and businesses.

Krysuvík Church receives the Tidiness Award
