The registration system is up and running!
It is now possible again to register children and young people aged 6-18 in Hafnarfjörður for sports and leisure activities without the hitches that occurred before the weekend. A fault on the website meant that it was not possible to receive a leisure grant at the same time as registering for a course.
Over the weekend, the City of Hafnarfjörður announced a fault with the website that handles subsidies for participation fees in sports and leisure activities for children and young people aged 6-18 in Hafnarfjörður. From Wednesday evening to Friday evening, it was not possible to register children for the leisure time grant, but testing and registrations over the weekend have been fully successful.
The registration system is up and running.
A fault triggered the following notification in the log: „You are not entitled to a grant for this course.“ which is not correct if the applicant has not already used their full grant. Parents and guardians who experienced problems with registration during this period and confirmed a registration without a subsidy are kindly asked to contact the Hafnarfjörður customer service on the telephone. 585-5500 or by email to the address: hafnarfjordur@hafnarfjordur.is. Those who choose to handle the correction themselves are asked to contact the sports club the child/young person was registered with and request a refund of the registration and payment. Then, re-register the individual in the system with the subsidised fee.
Those who cancelled their registration when the subsidy did not materialise are kindly asked to register their children and young people; everything should be in order now and there should be no hitches.
