Beauty Pageant 2019 – Nominations

The City of Hafnarfjörður is seeking nominations from residents and other interested parties for awards for beautiful and well-maintained gardens, streets, open spaces or institutional grounds in Hafnarfjörður. The selection for the awards is based solely on nominations received, and residents, employees and other interested parties are therefore encouraged to take an active part.

These awards are intended to set a certain standard in this area, in both residential and commercial areas. Through this, the City of Hafnarfjörður aims to raise public interest in the beautification of the local environment by drawing attention to those who serve as role models in environmental matters in Hafnarfjörður and should thus inspire others to take action.

It is very important that residents and businesses are encouraged and rewarded for good practice and a tidy environment. Awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Þöll Nursery on Kaldárselsveg at the end of August.

The deadline for submitting nominations is until 19 August 2019.
