The City of Hafnarfjörður encourages residents and business staff in Hafnarfjörður to actively participate in the day and litter pick like the wind in their immediate vicinity or in other well-chosen areas. Litter pickers are kindly asked to use clear rubbish bags for their collection to facilitate sorting and disposal. Litter pickers are also asked to report the locations where bags have been left via the council's feedback portal, where they can take a photo with the precise location. The feedback portal is also an ideal way to point out areas that need special attention or to make suggestions for other improvements.
