The Great Reading Competition 2022-2023
The 2022-2023 Great Reading Competition in Hafnarfjörður will be held in Víðistaðakirkja on Tuesday, 21 March at 5 p.m. At the event, Year 7 pupils will read an extract from a work of fiction and a poem. The authors for this year's competition are Arndís Þórarinsdóttir, Hulda Sigrún Bjarnadóttir and Aðalsteinn Ásberg Sigurðsson.

The 2022-2023 Grand Reading Competition in Hafnarfjörður will be held in Víðistaðakirkja on Tuesday, 21 March at 5 p.m. At the event, Year 7 pupils, selected from the primary schools of Hafnarfjörður, will read an extract from a work of fiction and a poem. The authors for this year's competition are Arndís Þórarinsdóttir, Hulda Sigrún Bjarnadóttir and Aðalsteinn Ásberg Sigurðsson. At the end of the event, a judging panel will select the three best readers and present them with prizes.
Guests are welcome as long as there is room.
