The map website is a powerful tool for getting to know our town better. The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður is placing an ever-increasing and greater emphasis on digital services and communication for the town's residents and other stakeholders. Over the past few months, a great deal of work has been carried out to update, refine, expand and enhance the town's map website, improve its functionality, and bring in data and information that has previously only been available in PDF documents online. The aim is to make access to important and popular information even easier, presented visually in one place.

In a central and open area of the map website A wealth of information regarding planning matters, drawings, the town's operations and services is available. There you can access all building control plans, which are scanned and registered as soon as they are approved, making both the working and master drawings available electronically. The map portal is updated daily and always reflects the most up-to-date information.
On the map website, you can access the following, among other things:
