Gafló Drama School

The Gaflaraleikhúsið Theatre School is back!

We are delighted to announce that we at Gaflaraleihús have taken over the third floor of the Innovation Centre by the Stream (the Old Stream School). There, we will be offering classes in play and the performing arts.

The Fork Theatre has, throughout its history, been known for providing a high-quality education for young and promising performing artists, and for many years has offered a programme teaching acting, screenwriting and playwriting.

From this training have emerged high-quality productions that have captivated young audiences and nurtured the independence of young artists, many of whom have gone on to take their place at the forefront of the professional performing arts.

Gafló school offers a drama course for pupils in the secondary school years in Hafnarfjörður. Those who are interested can get more information from the careers advisor at their school. The course is free for secondary school pupils in Hafnarfjörður. Gafló also offers drama courses for children aged 7-12.
