Thirteenth-day celebration at Ásvellir on Wednesday, 6th January. The celebration begins promptly at 6 p.m.
It is safe to say that Haukar, in collaboration with the City of Hafnarfjörður, are planning to see out the Christmas season in style with song and dance at Ásvellir. The one and only Helga Möller will be masterfully directing the singing and dancing from the stage, and the last of the Yule Lads, Grýla, Leppalúði, elves and trolls will be entertaining guests and passers-by.
Cocoa and waffles will be available on site at a modest price, and star lights will also be sold at the counter.
The festival ends at around 7 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks display by the Hafnarfjörður Rescue Squad.
