A strong working group is off to a good start
The group started work around 20th May and the first two weeks at Verkherinn have been promising. The good weather is being used for a mix of work and fun. Flowers and soil have been bought and plants have been put in, for example, on the balconies of Húsinu. Windows have been cleaned and people have enjoyed golf and bowling. The media group received training in interview techniques and showcased the town's bouncy castles and Verkhersinn's workplaces on the Instagram account @verkherinn. Smáralundur Nursery School hosted a group of young people for work experience, and another group was on duty at Krambúðin. The group ended the week with a work experience at the National Theatre and a visit to Víðistaðatún.
