The music schools' theme week
The theme for the week at the Hafnarfjörður Music School is National Anthems, a week characterised by unconventional instrument lessons and the collaboration of numerous groups. The Day of Music Schools is celebrated on 13 February.
Today, a theme week begins at the Music School. The theme of the week is the countries of the world.

most of the ethnic groups from which many residents of Hafnarfjörður originate. On Friday, the oldest pupils from the nurseries will visit the Music School to listen.

Day of the Music Schools
Music School Day is celebrated on 13 February each year, this coming Saturday. On Music School Day
a firm tradition to start at 10:00 with an instrument introduction in Hásölum for students in
Pre-school II. After the musical instrument introduction, students and parents have the opportunity
an opportunity to go into classrooms and meet teachers who can better demonstrate the instruments
and describe the main aspects of the course on the relevant instrument. From 13:00 onwards.
