A draft proposal for changes to the Regional Plan for the Capital Region 2040 and the Master Plan for Hafnarfjörður 2013-2025 is presented for information. A public information meeting will be held on Wednesday, 7 June at 15:00 in Salnum, Kópavogur.
A draft proposal for amendments to the Regional Plan for the Capital Region 2040 is presented for preliminary public consultation, in accordance with section 23(2) of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. The draft proposal consists of fixing the location of transport corridors for the City Line and defining criteria for development in its impact areas.
Draft proposals for changes to the Master Plans of Garðabær 2004-2016, Hafnarfjörður 2013-2025, Kópavogur 2012-2024, Mosfellsbær 2011-2030, the City of Reykjavík 2010-2016 and the Municipality of Seltjarnarnes 2015-2033, in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 30 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. The working proposals consist of locating the route of the City Line, its main stations, and defining the scope for development in the impact areas.

The deadline for making comments or suggestions on the draft amendments to the regional and master plans is 20 June 2017. Comments and suggestions must be in writing and should be sent to the SSH office or to the office of the relevant municipality.
