Hafnarfjörður Cross-Country Run 2018

The annual Hafnarfjörður Cross-Country Run took place on the first day of summer, 19th April, in Víðistaðatún.

There were around three hundred and fifty competitors in 14 categories, with the largest numbers in the youngest age groups. Competitors came from all the town's sports clubs, and many promising runners were taking their first steps there.

Ulfheiður Linnet was first to finish in the 15 and over category, and Úlfar Linnet was then first in the 15 and over men's category.

The weather was good during the run. The athletics section of FH organised the run.

Prizes were provided by the City of Hafnarfjörður, and all competitors received a medal, while the first competitors to finish in each category received a trophy.

The competition was fierce and good in all categories. The first-place winners in each category were as follows:
