A safe and supportive platform for people with mental health issues

Lækur is a sanctuary for individuals with mental health challenges. Its primary role is to provide a safe and welcoming space for people aiming to reduce social isolation, foster social interaction, and strengthen their mental and physical well-being, where everyone can enjoy themselves. On 20th October, it was finally possible to hold an open house at Lækur for the first time since moving from Læk to Staðarberg in 2020. A number of interested people, along with their families and friends, came to find out about the activities and atmosphere of the house, and they both benefited and had a great time.
