Swimming is free during the primary school winter holiday, and the museums are offering an exciting programme for primary school children and their families.

Hafnarfjörður's primary schools will be on half-term holiday on Monday and Tuesday, 22nd-23rd February, and across the country, with a joint planning day on 24th February. On Monday, 22nd February, we're also launching the ‘Book Dress-Up’ project, where visitors can share their favourite books, poems, authors, quotes, well, or just anything, and design a fashion wonder with us that will be available and on display on the ground floor.

  • Printmaking workshop at Hafnarborg, 13:00-15:00. Gel plates will be used for printing graphic works.

Tuesday 23 February

  • Sculpture making at Hafnarborg, 13:00-15:00. Large and small, three-dimensional artworks will be created from a variety of materials.

  • Concert with Shore – Hafnarfjörður Library, 5-5:30 p.m.
