Construction and closures in the coming days
- Explosions in the coming weeks. Explosions will begin this week in the slip road at the Reykjanesbraut, between the Krýsuvíkurveg roundabout and the Strandgata bridge, and traffic will be stopped while they are underway. The first rock blast will take place on Tuesday, 4 February at 3 p.m., and traffic will be stopped for a few minutes.
- Strandgata by the Reykjanesbraut will be closed from 10 am to 6 pm on Thursday, 6 February. Due to resurfacing of the bridge deck. Signage will be in place at the Strandgata Bridge.
