Construction works on the Reykjanesbraut
On Saturday 14th July, from 07:30 to 15:30, the plan is to pave a 200-metre section of the Reykjanesbraut in Hafnarfjörður.
On Saturday, 14th July, from 07:30 to 15:30, the plan is to resurface a 200-metre section of the Reykjanesbraut in Hafnarfjörður. The area in question is on the section where the road runs under Áslandið; there is one lane in each direction and traffic is being diverted via Ásabraut, with unrestricted traffic to the south towards Reykjanesbær.
Appropriate signage will be put up during the works in accordance with the attached closure plan. The works are scheduled to take place between 07:30 and 15:30.
Motorists are asked to observe the signs and speed limits, and to exercise caution in the work area. The work area is narrow, and people and equipment are working very close to the carriageway.
