The planning and design of the environment is of great importance to us all, as these are factors that can have a significant impact on the community life intended to flourish in any given place. It is important that as many voices as possible are heard in the planning process, and that the wishes of those who are to bring the built environment to life with their presence are taken into account. In open workshops and discussions at Hafnarborg in March, the public will have the opportunity to discuss the planning authorities' priorities and to offer suggestions on what is being done well and what could be improved. In Sverrissal at Hafnarborg, a closer look will be taken at the latest developments and planning matters in the centre of Hafnarfjörður and its surrounding areas. The Environmental and Planning Services of Hafnarfjörður, Hafnarborg and the Marketing Office of Hafnarfjörður are jointly organising the exhibition and workshops.
